GFT established Green Team that all the members had successfully completed the basic Travelife Sustainability training and exam. The Green Team is responsible for providing sustainability training to our employees and monitoring the sustainability actions and outcome every two months.

GFT prefer to work with sustainable accommodation. Our goal is to design more certified accommodations and sign contract with them as many as possible. Currently, 50% of the accommodations that we are working with are qualified with international or local government sustainability certificate.

GFT will display and promote all products (including accommodation, excursions and packages), which meet the standards of GFT sustainability policy as "GFT green products" on our website in the future. In 2025, the usage rate of sustainable and eco-friendly accommodations is 20%, with a target to increase it to 25%. The number of green restaurants will be raised from 7 to a target of 10.
Taiwan Sustainable Tours on GFT

GFT will start the tour guide training that we cooperate most frequently. Currently, GFT plans to distribute the "Service Provider Sustainability Standards" to tour guides before the tour starts.

ACDT(Association for Cruises Development of Taiwan) is committed to the implementation and promotion of Taiwan island hopping routes. As a member of this association, GFT is also actively participating in itinerary planning and taking this opportunity to promote the concept of sustainability.
In order to promote local economic development and cultural preservation, we had workshops with local sustainable groups during the tour.

The 115th-Year Employee MRT Beitou Hot Spring One-Day Tour embraces energy conservation and carbon reduction while blending history, hot spring scenery, and gourmet delights. The journey begins at the Japanese-era wooden Xinbeitou Historic Station, where participants can experience the charm of a century-old railway station and enjoy the rare “green sulfur spring” hand bath at the nearby Xingchuan Pavilion. Next, visitors stroll to the forest-surrounded Beitou Library to admire Taiwan’s first eco-friendly green building and its beautiful wooden architectural design. Right beside it is the red-brick Beitou Hot Spring Museum, where guests can explore the glorious history of Beitou’s public bathhouse culture.
At noon, the group will enjoy an exquisite and abundant lunch at Spring City Resort. After the meal, the tour continues to the misty Thermal Valley, where visitors can witness the dreamlike emerald-green sulfur spring source. Finally, the tour concludes at Zhongxin New Village, Taiwan’s only hot spring military dependents’ village, where participants can experience the nostalgic atmosphere and everyday charm of traditional military village life. This enriching journey of culture, nature, and relaxation ends on a perfect note.
